Daytime, evening and weekend classes are offered on the main and downtown campuses.
The length of time it takes to complete this program varies by student. If you have other significant time commitments and take only one or two courses per term, you will likely complete the program in two years. If you are planning on taking multiple courses per term, you will complete the program faster. However, when planning, it is important to take into account the extra time that will be required for reading and assignments. For every hour of classroom time, plan on working one more hour at home (3 hours in class; 3 hours at home). For most online courses, expect to work approximately six hours per week per course. Students are invited to contact a student advisor for planning assistance.
You can take courses first and enrol in the certificate later; however, as programs are subject to change, we recommend you apply for admission to the certificate as early as possible. Once you are admitted, you can be confident that you have locked in the requirements leading to your graduation.
To be admitted students must be 18 years of age; successful completion of a Senior High School diploma and relevant workplace experience is recommended. If English is not your first language, please review the English language proficiency requirements.Apply for Certificate Admission
