An application fee is required at the time of registration. This is a one-time fee and non-refundable under any circumstances.
Homestay Placement Fee
A non-refundable $250 application fee is required to apply for homestay. This fee is assessed on a per homestay basis and is required each time a placement is requested.
Application fee and non-refundable deposits must be received 30 days before the start of the course. Full payment is due 15 days before the course begins.
Visa, MasterCard, or American Express are the preferred methods of payment. International bank wire transfers are also an acceptable means of payment; however, they are expensive and slow. All bank wire transfers require an additional $60 processing fee. Bank wire refunds usually require additional processing fees and a minimum of 3 months to refund. If paying in person, cash, debit card or cheque (domestic only) are also acceptable.
A deposit is required for each course at the time of registration. All course deposits are towards tuition, not in addition to it. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

- ESL 103: $100 for overnight trips, $50 for day trips
- ESL 900/901/911: $225
There will be a $50 per course administrative fee for all drops and transfers.
$10 fee will be charged per document for requesting an additional transcript, assessment or certificate.
English Language Program Certificate
Students who attend a minimum of 90% of classes will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the course.
Any exceptions to the refund and transfer policies outlined below will be clearly stated in the receipt notes. If a refund is approved, reimbursement will be made via the original payment method. There will be a $50 per course administrative fee for all drops and transfers. Transfers are only allowed one time in the cases of visa rejections and visa delays.
Tuition refund eligibility is relative to the course/program start date.

All withdrawals must be made in writing.
A 14-day notice is required to depart or cancel homestay. Unused homestay fees and deposits will be refunded on a prorated basis. The pro-rated refund will be calculated after the amount of the 14-day notice period has been deducted. Students who cancel homestay 15 days or more before their homestay begins will only be charged the homestay placement fee, all other homestay fees will be refunded.
Visa/permit related issues
If the Government of Canada does not provide you with a temporary resident visa/study permit, course tuition fees and deposits can be refunded or transferred one time to the next program/course, if written proof of the following is provided up until 15 days before the program/course start date:
- The visa/study permit application was submitted to IIRC at least 3 months before the course start date.
- The Government of Canada (IIRC) refused the visa and/or permit application.
Please note that program application fees and homestay placement fees are non-refundable. Administrative fees still apply.
