Course Description

New York City is one of the world’s premier cultural destinations with its Broadway musicals and plays, the best jazz on the planet, fine museums, diverse restaurants and much more. We will explore some of major attractions of New York such as the Empire State Building, gaze at the thousands of artworks and artifacts on display at various world-class New York Museums, and take in some of the city’s fine architecture and historical monuments as we enjoy leisurely walks. In the evenings there is an array of plays, opera, musicals, jazz, and symphonic music to choose from. Participants will have time to explore and create their own New York experience from the many varied choices that this metropolis has to offer.
