CPE 197 Conflict Resolutions for Helping Professions: Strategies and Skills for Managing Conflicts With Co-Workers or Clients




Course Description

Conflict exists in all relationships -- between individuals, family members, group members, community members, and even between helping professionals. This two-day workshop is designed to help social workers, nurses, psychologists, and related human service professionals deal with conflict more effectively by providing them with strong foundations in conflict resolution theory, strategies, and practice skills.

Approved for 12 hours ACSW Category "A" credits

Please note: Two sections of this workshop are being offered; CPE 197-001 is scheduled at the University of Lethbridge Campus and CPE 197-002 is scheduled at the University of Calgary main campus. When registering, please ensure you choose the section with the location you prefer to attend.

Withdrawal Policy:  If a registrant withdraws from this workshop 5 or more business days prior to the start date of the workshop, the registrant will receive a full refund minus an administrative fee of $30.00.  No refunds on withdrawals 4 business days or less.  Substitution of an eligible candidate will be allowed up to one business day before the start date of the workshop.
