PHO 114 Video Shooting

Course Description

Use your digital SLR or camcorder to shoot great looking footage that people will want to watch. Learn about the various camera features and how to make the most of your equipment. Then, discover techniques used to capture great looking footage, including composition, zooming, panning, exposure, audio, principles of lighting, and creating a story. Finally, gain basic information about editing, managing footage and building a personal archive. Whether you're filming family, children, pets, landscapes, interiors, or a scripted scenario, this course will help improve your movie-making experience. Students must have either a consumer video camera or DSLR (digital SLR) with a video recording option.
