BMC 244 Introduction to Field Methods in Ecology

Course Description

Gain hands-on experience with key field techniques in trial and aquatic ecology through studies in the Kananaskis region. Topics include: identification of plants and animals, ecological interactions, sampling strategies and measures of biodiversity, and experimental design. This course is held at the University of Calgary's Kananaskis Field Station at Barrier Lake.
