ART 114 Classical Figurative Sculpting

Course Description

Using clay, you will work from the live model on various sculpture assignments. Learn how to slowly build the human figure by studying proportions, understanding forms, and creating an aesthetic harmony of the sculptural elements. Students will be able to fire one smaller sculpture and will also be shown how plaster casts of sculptures are made. Supplies included in course fee.
