Course Description

Occupational health risk assessment is a systematic procedure used to identify health hazards, evaluate the extent of potential exposure, and determine the severity of adverse health effects. These assessments ultimately determine the requirement for hazard control measures, training programs and medical surveillance. This course will address development of comprehensive exposure assessments within the health risk assessment framework. You will be provided a template for health hazard assessment and use scenario-based discussions to gain experience in using this approach.
