Course Description

Supervision of students or interns in professional psychology is becoming a specified area of competence.  As such, development of skills specific to competent supervision is required.  In this non-credit certificate course registered, provisional, associate psychologists, and doctoral students in psychology will be exposed to the current state of the supervisory art as reflected in both ethics, regulations and policy, and evidence-based best practice standards.

Registered psychologists, provisional psychologists, and associate psychologists may register for this certificate course.

This course is intended for registered psychologists, provisional psychologists, and associate psychologists and is offered through Educational Studies in Psychology.

Members of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA) will be eligible for a rebate of $175.00 from the PAA. Receipt of the rebate will be dependent upon submission of proof of successful completion of the course, and receipt of a request for the rebate within six weeks of course completion.
