ART 303 Art History and Appreciation 3




Course Description

Examine and gain an appreciation and understanding of major works of Western art from the 20th century. This course will explain significant historical and cultural influences and will focus on major artists, trends and avant-garde movements from Europe and North America, including Cubism, Fauvism, Dadaism, Surrealism, Expressionism, Constructivism, Abstract Expressionism, pop art, conceptual art, and Post-Modernism.
