A continuation of Level 101 designed for personal interest or for those wishing to work toward a career in interpretation with the deaf or hard of hearing. Learn to talk about your family, tell about activities, give directions and describe others. Individual participation and group interaction with the instructor will be encouraged. Students are assessed through group conversation with the instructor.

ASL 102 - 026 - Sign Language 102

Classes meet at the Main Campus, Downtown Campus, or at a designated off-campus location.
Tim Pearson has been teaching Sign Language at the University of Calgary Continuing Education for 13 years. Previous teaching experience includes ASL with the government in Edmonton, Continuing Education at Mount Royal University as well as numerous immersion programs. Tim has an acting background in Calgary and area theatre. Tim has provided energetic and engaging instruction in five levels of ASL to hundreds of students at University of Calgary Continuing Education. His student evaluations are consistently outstanding.
