ADL 100 Fundamentals of Career Development




Course Description

Provides a foundation of the major career development thories and how they relate to the practice of career counselling. Reflect upon these theories and how they relate to attitudes, values, and theories in use. Learn to clarify and articulate conceptual frameworks for excelling as a career development practitioner. The course will involve an active and interactive approach, relating concepts and theories to experience and career counselling practice. Learning activities will include lecturettes, individual reflection, exercises and structured activities, small and large group discussion, case studies, and student presentations.
