Course Description

The publishing world has changed dramatically in recent years. Professional publishing houses and literary agents now require book proposals and query packages. Even self-publishing requires a plan and research to accomplish your goals without getting gouged. This one-day workshop will help you write a non-fiction proposal, suitable for self-help and how-to books, memoirs, histories and biographies. Topics include the benefits and pitfalls of self-publishing versus professional publishing, ebooks, and how to create an author platform. Do you have a great non-fiction book inside you?
