The Certificate for Emerging Leaders is a 98-hour program comprised of daytime seminars that fall into five topic areas or competencies. These topic areas are: Communication, Building Relationships, Personal Effectiveness, Professional Skills, and Coaching. You must choose a minimum of one seminar per topic area. If all five topic areas have been addressed and the requirement of 98 hours has not been met, you may choose any Business Seminar eligible for credit towards the Certificate for Emerging Leaders.
At the end of your program, you must complete a Learning Journal Summary. This summary is to be completed within three months of completing the final seminar in the Certificate program and is a requirement for attaining your Certificate for Emerging Leaders.
Please note: Registration in BUS 197 Certificate for Emerging Leaders - Assessment is not required.
