Course Description

Due to a rapidly changing world, indigenous technology, or technology that is native to a particular region is vanishing across the globe. Africa is one continent where indigenous technology persists. Discuss the basics of indigenous technology in Africa focusing on what indigenous technology is, how it has survived, and the interplays between indigenous technology and modern technology.
