ADL 133 Teaching with Technology: Blogs, Wikis and More

Course Description

New technologies permeate our daily life. In education, blogs, Wikis and podcasts are among the new technologies that are changing how instructors and facilitators engage learners. These tools are highly interactive and enable dialogue between individuals. Instructors and facilitators can use them to engage learners to change their involvement from passive to active as they move from "sage on the stage" to "guide on the side." This online course will introduce you to these emerging technologies and their possible uses in education.
