ICT 685 Digital Prototyping with Revit

Course Description

This course provides an overview of Revit tools as they apply to virtual spatial design and parametric modeling.

Course Details

One of the primary objectives of architects, interior designers and industrial designers is to optimize the relationship between people and their built environment. Building Information Modelling (BIM) is rapidly becoming an industry standard due to the inherent opportunity to facilitate connections between designers, consultants and contractors.

Digital Prototyping with Revit software provides designers with tools to design, visualize, simulate and explore spatial relationships through virtual reality computer graphics. Revit allows the designer to move from concept to fully integrated working drawings, high quality renderings and virtual tours.

This course is designed for those who want to learn Digital Prototyping with Revit. This includes both seasoned and new architects and designers who have had some exposure to Revit but are eager to learn the many time saving techniques for day-to-day projects. The instructor will assume that you have already mastered the fundamentals of Photoshop and Illustrator.
