FIF 206 Canada During the First World War

Course Description

Explore the origins of the First World War, including events on both the home front and Western (fighting) Front. Focus on on how the war changed Canadian society forever, creating a nation out of a colony. The aim will be to explore how the Great War of 1914-18 shaped Canada in the early 20th century, resulting in a legacy both of disillusionment and hope.

Course Details

There is a 20% reduced fee for students 65 years of age or older at the time of registration. You must register by phone (403-220-2952) or in person to receive this discount.
