FIF 204 Literary Places

Course Description

Explore the themes of place, community and memory in a variety of literary texts and media with an emphasis on different geographies. Examine foundational literary and critical skills along with the issues that surface in diverse literary places. Texts will include Monica Ali's Brick Lane, Bronte's Jane Eyre, Jean Rhys' Wide Sargasso Sea, with selected poems from Canadian, British, American, and South Asian poets.

Course Details

There is a 20% reduced fee for students 65 years of age or older at the time of registration. You must register by phone (403-220-2952) or in person to receive this discount.
