Appeals and Reappraisals of Grades

Continuing Education has procedures in place for appeals and reappraisals of grades.

Procedures for Appeals and Reappraisals

General guiding principles are as follows:

1. In all cases you should discuss, and attempt to resolve, any difficulties with the course instructor.
2. Time is of the essence:
   • In the case of a reappraisal of grade you must initiate a request within 21 days of the return of course work or within 45 days of the date on which the final grade notification was emailed to you.
   • In the case of an appeal you must initiate a request for reconsideration with 21 days of receipt of a ruling.
