Receive notifications of D2L course activity
Desire2Learn's notification tool can be configured to send course updates by email or text message.
You can choose to track course activities, such as:
- Quiz and dropbox reminders
- Grade updates
- Discussion postings

STEP 1
Click your name in the top-right corner of the screen, then click Notifications from the drop-down menu.

To receive notifications by email, confirm that the email address in the Contact Methods section is correct. To change it, click Change your email settings.

Select Use Custom Email in the Email Settings window. Enter your desired email contact and click Save.

To receive notifications by text message, click Register your mobile.

Complete the required information in the Register Your Mobile window and click Save.

Select Never or Daily to specify how often you wish to receive a "Summary of Activity" email.

Select the Instant Notifications you wish to receive via email or text message.

Select additional notifications options as desired.

Use Manage my course exclusions to stop receiving notifications from one or more of your courses.
