"I think it's the best way to travel," says Laurie Coghlan, about Continuing Education's Travel Study Program. "It's so easy—and completely stress free."
After learning about the program from her cousin just six years ago, Laurie registered for her first trip with Continuing Education. The trip, that included Washington, D.C. and New York city was led by well known food critic John Gilchrist, and focused on museums, sightseeing, and food. "It was amazing... you could never have done or seen as much on your own," she says.
Laurie has since travelled four times with Continuing Education—mostly on trips led by John Gilchrist. "It would be pretty near impossible to duplicate the experience we have with John...we really do see, eat, and drink it all," she says.
While there is a full schedule of sights and activities, there are also opportunities to choose time for yourself—something that is important to Laurie. Convinced it's one of the best ways to travel, Laurie knows she will be back for more trips. "Everything is so well coordinated...and for me, it's just the right balance of control and self responsibility."
