Certificate in Desktop Applications (2010)
"Taking the Desktop Applications Certificate program was a great experience," says graduate Dalyce Horne. "I learned something new in every class."
A few years ago, when Dalyce made a transition into a new office management position, she discovered the need to expand her desktop application skills. She turned to Continuing Education to get the learning she needed and discovered the Desktop Applications Certificate. Over the next 18 months, she was able to complete the certificate requirement of 10 two-day courses.
"I found the daytime format to be very convenient." Dalyce's program included Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Dalyce says that like most people, she had become comfortable with her application skills, and didn't realize how much more she could do with the applications. Today, she has advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
