"Getting my Human Resources Management Certificate has helped immensely with my transition from the UK to Canada," says Ashleigh Carlogridis.

Already working in HR, Ashleigh knew she wanted a Canadian qualification to ensure she had the right knowledge for her field, and to complement the Diploma in Business Management that she had earned in England.

Currently working with Total E&P Canada Ltd. as an HR advisor in expatriate services, she is especially grateful for the instruction she received in the field of international human resources, as well as some of the basics she needed like Canadian employment law.

Ashleigh chose the Cont Ed HR program after doing her research. "I felt it was a robust program and the option of doing classes online and in class was an added benefit," she says.

Taking several courses online resulted in Ashleigh completing her program in just two years. She admits to being apprehensive about online learning at first, but has since become a fan. "Once I did my first course, I was sold. I loved it... there's great interaction with students and instructors."

Ashleigh says she found the whole experience in Continuing Education fantastic. "Learning never stops," she says. "I'm sure I'll be back."
