Thomas Brown and Linda Harvey (with matching funds from the Suncor Energy Foundation) have established this scholarship fund to assist students enrolled in the Environmental Management Certificate Program. Tom and Linda are instructors in the program and thoroughly enjoy providing an interactive learning environment for adult learners in the environmental field. They recognize the financial challenges a number of students must overcome and hope that this scholarship will provide incentive to continue in the Environmental Certificate Program.
The Award
The fund was established to provide assistance to adult learners who have chosen to pursue an environmental education, often while maintaining a full-time career and family life commitments.

Eligibility Criteria
- Offered annually to continuing students in Continuing Education enrolled in the Environmental Management Certificate Program.
- Have taken a minimum of 3 courses in the program.
- Not funded by an employer or other agency.
- Academic merit.
